Pacifist, conscientious objector Cat Stevens -- folk singer/writer and flower child of the 60's and 70's has been barred from the USA! His plane from London to Washington DC was diverted to Maine, and he's being sent back to England on the next available flight. Now while I realize that he converted to Islam back in '78 and is now known as Yusuf Islam, is he really a threat to Homeland Security? He has been most outspoken against the atrocities of Beslan and 911 and has made the valid point that such actions are inconsistent with the teachings of the Koran. Is there something going on here of which I'm unaware?
