I am so much desperate to get rid of my pimples!
I've tried so many products: I started with Pond's facial wash (the green and white one), but it seemed so uneffective so I switched to Cetaphil. I used Cetaphil for two to three years, I think. Yeah, compared to Pond's, it worked better because I got to lessen my pimples. But my face remained to be oily, which only triggered pimples to come back. O_O
Last year, I tried to use Cetaphil and St. Ives Apricot facial scrub (the scrub to be used twice a week), but nothing seemed to change: my face was still oily and I had lots of pimples.
Just recently I switched to Celeteque facial wash and looks like it's working better than the first products I used. It dries pimples fast, like two to three days. Last week I had lots of pimples on the right side of my face. But now, I'e noticed that it's getting smoother, I can feel less bumps on my facial skin, but I could see the spots, like acne scars.
Now, I'd like to know what products you use to get rid of your pimples and the oily skin?? Thanks!

personally, i use neutrogena soap.. the one for oily skin. it pretty much works, but doesn't cure the acne. have you tried visiting a dermatologist? i guess that would be the best step to take. although they can be costly, at least you must try it even once. they can prescribe you with medications, as well as a good soap (even a toner for the oily skin) that will work for you.

for me i use vmv hypoallergenic products. it works for me. you have to follow the instructions though to go real slow with using the product. Like use it for twice a week, and then increasing it to thrice a week until your skin gets used to it and you can use it everyday.
I use Likas papaya herbal soap to clean my face, twice a day.
And then both vmv superskin 3 toner (to dry out the pimples) and vmv illuminants toner(for my acne scar) for twice a week only.
And then i use the vmv superskin 3 moisturizer only when my face is too dry.
When i have a zit, i dip a cotton bud on the vmv superskin 3 toner and pat it on the pimple..and put toothpaste on it..it dries out the pimple fast.
im also taking birth control pills (althea) and i noticed that my skin looks great, and its not oily anymore.

I have been using a new product from avon called Avon clearskin correct and fade peel pads and I have seen a significant difference in my skin. It helps in preventing pimples and drying them out but it also helps fade those nasty little acne scars. I was skeptical at first but they are working. I will continue to buy them because they work it may take some time but they are working.I also have oily skin and alot of stuff made it worse. I have been using other avon products as well this month to help in the acne. from the clearskin line the 2 in 1 cleanser and mask is great also helps with oily skin and the cleaning pads work when you are out and feel as though your face needs a cleanse or to be refreshed and they are easy to use. I hope this helped. Yo can find them at www.avon.com or maybe even on ebay or contact your local Avon representive and she can further assist you.
