Can you switch a gas home to an electric one?

It depends on what you are "switching". If you're talking an entire heating system, appliances (stove, clothes dryer, etc.) and water tanks then it CAN be done but not without some huge costs.

Are you talking about switching from gas appliances to electric appliances? If your house already has electricity, then getting electric appliances in place of gas appliances, might only require a change/addition of outlets for the appliances.
