Though the film is based on fictious novel it is closer to the reality.
Do you believe is that story is true?
I donot have clear-cut idea about that. But some say that it was written a lot of research.

I really enjoyed the book, and the movie but don't know if it's true or not. Many people belive it is, but many people also get outraged at the ideas about Jesus this book brings up. I guess anything is possible. I don't understand what the big deal would be if he did have a wife and a child. There is a book called "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" that was released in the early 80's that is about basically the same thing except this one is not a fiction novel like The Davinci Code is. It's a really interesting book. You should give it a read if you liked the concept of The Davinci Code.

The point of Holy Blood Holy Grail is to attempt to show evidence that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had children. So Jesus had a blood line that later married into a noble family from France that eventually became the Merovingian dynasty. The book states it is the job of The Priory of Sion to protect the blood line of Jesus and return them to rule.

This is a story that is not true to me but i think everybody might be having different views regarding this. But i should say Dan Brown is a good writer, what ever he wrote has got some power that has move the entire world. Hehehe but i haven't seen the movie but i have read a part of the book written by him and i should say its a master piece.
