He tried to bribe me to keep quiet and when that didn't work he resorted to violence but that only worked until I got home. Then I spilled my guts.
My sister has remarried since and has been happily married for 39 years.
I did the right thing. :)

Oh yeah, its a life I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
To keep things a little clearer. This sister was a foster sister in one of the homes I lived in as a foster child.
I went through a lot of crap but this sister and her younger sister treated me like a real person. So they remain in a special spot in my heart.
I have a real blood sister but she was never put in foster homes, she lived with my grandfather and his sister. She turned out pretty good. Although her husband cheated on her a number of times before she finally kicked him out.
It's been quite a ride these past 54 years.
