Theologically accurate or talking out of his*ahem*??

I dont think he believes what he writes,all those are fiction. He just got a great mind.

I own both books but havent had a chance to read either of them yet however I recently saw the movie DaVinci Code and I have to say that #1 its not a new theory by any means..in fact the belief that the Vatican actually knows the truth and its not somethign they want society to know, has been around for some time now and #2 from what I saw in the movie, Browns theory really does hold a lot of water IMO....Now whether or not HE, himself, believes it, well I really dont know....I would have to say I think that at least the base idea sparks true for him but then again who knows...

hmm, this is a difficult one to answer. I think he has done a lot of research for this book and I think there must have been some kind of interest there to spark off the research and novel. I am inclined to believe he is more against the catholic church than an absolute believer of the holy grail conspiracy but there are so many loose ends out there that he may well believe in what he writes about.

I think he knows what to write, to sell books!

The theory behind the Da Vinci Code is believed by quite alot of people. Dan Brown knew how to add the drama, to turn it into a best-seller.

I have to say, I do like his books.
I had the chance to go to Rosslyn Chapel, last summer, and it's a beautiful place. Slightly off topic there, but I'd jump at the chance to go again:o)

I don't think it is made up. For one thing, if you take away the story and separate the facts, you are left with some very interesting research topics. Look the stuff up. The secret societies are real, The Priory of Sion, The Knights Templar, all that stuff. Constantine did make Christianity a male-based religion, and prior to that, there was a duality worshipped. A female god and a male god. Look it up. And if you are really interested, read Sylvia Browne's The Mystical Life of Jesus and Mother God. Very interesting stuff here.
