How did you start playing final fantasy?

My final fantasy experience started when I went to my cousins and saw him playing final fantasy. He was playing 7 cause it just came out. When he beat it, he let me borrow it. I played it straight through and was addicted from then on. If you havent tried final fantasy, you might as well try it. It is awesome.

Final Fantasy is the best game series!
I first played FF8 when I was at 4th grade...
That's when Israel was still selling the game in stores.

Which was great, I got totaly addicted.
after that, I played FF1-6 (English) and finished them all until 6th grade I think.

Then I tried playing FF7. which Was The best plot game (not the best graphic or concept) and I really enjoyed it and all the other sequels (FF:AC and the OVA and sht)

The first time I heard the title "Final Fantasy" was about 10 years ago. That time I was thinking what is this game? Why do so many people talk about this game (that time, it was FF VII).
So I tried...and addicted in no time at all,LOL:D
Since then, I play every series from 7 to 12.
Didn't have the time to search for 6 and earlier because I dont have the console.

my brother started playing it, then he introduced it to me. from then on, i started playing it and went crazy over it. it was a very fascinating game to play with many other twists and turns.

Okay, I'm probably showing my age here a bit but who cares...lol. I started playing Final Fantasy way back when the very first original came out on the original nintendo. And I still have that original game too! From there I moved on to the next two games that came out on the SuperNES and even Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. That was a fun one. And I've played every single one for the Playstation when they came out and have them all. Currently I'm working on FFXII. It's interesting but not quite as engaging as some of the earlier games. And I also have a great Final Fantasy game for GameCube called Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It's a completely different story and set up and just alot of fun when you need something a little different. So, I guess you could say I've been playing these games for about 16 or 17 years now. They grow on you and it's great now to see my own children enjoying the series as much as I do.

i seen my nephew playing ff7 and borrowed itfrom him.there was no manual which sucked a bit,but hey still a great game,amazing storyline,likeable characters,need i go on??

When i was younger, i happen to see ff7 in the stores. I read the storyline and checked out the graphics. I realized it was an rpg and i wanted to play the game. Then, i went to square soft's site to check out more rpg games and thats how i started playin final fantasy.

My friend recommended FF7 to me and at first I don't like it but later Ilearned to like it. FF games has good graphics although it has poor story, it's still a great game.

When i first played final fantasy, it was final fantasy VII, i loved it, what made me get it was the book on it. I was looking through all the magazines, and found its add, and it looked sooooo wonderful, so i started playing Final Fanatasy ever since then!^^

My first final fantasy was actually tactics.. but I was no good at it:P So.. I sorta avoided it till my dad got Final Fantasy 5.. and I was hooked, because it had a pretty decent class sytem.. Then once I got a hang of how RPGs worked, I went back to Tactics (which is an AMAZING game btw) and almost finished it.. when the CD started giving problems (scratches):( Now I'm still looking around for Tactics to finish it.. in the meantime, I was able to get the other games. Recent favorite being, of course, FF XII, which has got some amazing graphics. I liked FF9 too, but well, the game is not exactly a fantabulous one, just a really good one:D
