can any one explain me what is an continental food. Whether it is an vegetarian or non vegetarian food. From where it originated. I have seen those menus only in star hotels, is it hard to prepare or costlier. which countries have got more menus in this category

Continental food includes classic Italian and french highlights.Some of the continental foods much sort after are Italian pastas,American style pizzas and burgers,Chinese soups and noodles and Mexican Tortillas.
