Is anyone on MyLot a Medical Assistant?

I want to go to Nursing School later when I save up some money. Right now, I thought about becoming a medical assistant. Can anyone provide me with some info on the job, such as job duties & pay rate? Does it make a difference if I get an Associate's Degree in Medical assistant rather than a certificate?
