I actually don't know what has gone wrong. I think it is just the ups and downs of the game. The ball bounces here and there. These games are often so close. I wish the team good luck.

I've always felt that WHU had one of the worst football boards in the premiership, and have shown particular incompetance in the hiring and firing of managers. The new owners do look any different (now lets be honest most football club owners dont know what they are doing) and I suspect that it will take a few seasons before they work out how to run a football club. Pardew, of course should not have been sacked, for several reasons, not the least being that its a pretty rotton thing to do to a new manager to ask him to take over a demoralised team mid-season. It's the kind of thing you need to do at the end of the season. But it's even worse when you have new owners mid season.

Unless they get lucky, WHU are going down and I doubt any one could (within WHU's price range that is, I'm sure Furguson, Wenger etc might have, but of course that kind of manager would not be coming to West Ham) have change that and mid season changes very rarely alter that, we just have to hope that the new owner learns quickly

hey, at bit of luck!!!, West Ham got a penalty they shouldnt of had and scored a goal that should not have been allowed!!!!, West Ham 2 - Blackburn 1, maybe there is hope after all ....

well the big hurdle of Arsenal has been jumped successfully, WHU now need to beat Sheffield Utd, which they need to win as Chelsea are coming up next, if fact apart from Wigan all the teams we fact after Sheffield Utd are currenly in the top six so to have any chance of winner these two games are must wins ....

As another life long fan (and surprise surprise a girlie).I have supported the hammers since my dad took me to Upton Park 35 years ago and been there through the ups and oh so many more downs.I agree I think the passion and loyalty isn't around any more from the players.One game in Europe and they all think the team are no longer worthy of their talents and they should be playing for one of the so called big teams.I hope Curbishley does turn things around and with a few wins behind us now you never know.We have the most difficult run in of all the clubs at the bottom so now is the time for those players to give it their all not just for Alan but for all us fans who will still be there next season reagardless what division we are in.Will we ba able to say the same of our players?

well it's all over, West Ham have survived (legal responses not withstanding) and they showed what a good team they really are, let hope now that WHU have decent management (I'm talking about the chaiman and the board here) and the the team can now start working on maintaining regular european football

Joe Cole playing in chelsea , Rio Ferdiand playing in Manchester United , Jermaine Defoe playing in Spurs , Frank Lampard In chelsea , Ferderic Kanoute in sevilla , Michael Carrick in Machester United ... it seems like West ham always can't keep their best players yea ... just like they can't keep me as their fans always yea sadly ...

but i do cheer for them at times ... i do think that the sacking of alan pardew is a good choice after all alan clubishly is a much exprience manager and he had a eye for talent , like you say Boa morte .

I have a vested interest in West Ham because my fiance's nephew Matthew Etherington plays for the team. I think they shouldn't have sacked Pardew and some players have not had their heart in it. Last year was fantastic for the team and I do think you could be correct in saying a few players got a little too big for their boots.

Now, they can't afford to waste the chance they've been given. They need to find the motivation again and ignore the critics.
