I Don't Think that the comparition between Eragon and Harry Potter is Fair!!!!!

Firstly, Harry potter has been along for years now, not that i don't like it or anything(i m a huge fan) but eragon has just entered the market!!!
Next HP is a sequel of seven books while inheritance is just a triology, and the movie reviews have been very bad...
it is absolutely not fair to compare HP with Eragon!!! not fair at alll

Yes I agree i m fan of both Eragon And Harry Potter...it is unfair to compare both of them....Each one is special in their own kind...though both deals with magic and fantasy.As you rightly pointed out Harry Potter series is longer than Eragon Trilogy and both were out at different times. What matters is the ingenuity of the authors both JKR and Paolini have succeeded in gratifying the readers with their works
