Try to stay warm-- Keep inside- My brother lived in Alaska for 3 years while in the Army- I can remember his wife hating it and the kids loving it-- They hated when they couldn't go outside at all.. I remember when they came back to NY for vacation- and they had these wierd things on their vehicle-- A heater for the battery or something to that extent. Keep warm.. May I ask why you're in Alaska? Armed forces?

Homer Beach, Alaska - This is a picture of Homer Beach in the Kenai Mountains taken in 1999.
i can not imagine what that feels like as it never gets that cold here in Delaware. I bet it is very beautiful there but would not want to be there during the winter. That is probably one of the coldest places to be in the winter season. How are you and your family keeping warm in such terribly cold weather?

WOW!! Those temps make Michigan seem extremely tropical! We had some temps like that one year, and there was a lot of cars not working and tons of frostbite cases at the hospitals!! "Not to pleasant" wouldn't cover it for me!! You're being very kind!!
