What do you think about the TIGGER incident in Walt Disney World?

What do you think about Tigger punching that kid in the face in Walt Disney World? Did you see the video?

What do you think of this?
I think the kid was trying to do something to Tigger on his back...but the story says that he wasnt...not sure, what do you think. I know that there is no excuse for Tigger to punch the kid but maybe it was a reaction without thinking.

Without any other evidence, it's difficult to judge. It's however very doubtful that a Disney employee would do something like this spontaneously and without provocation.
I wouldn't be surprised if the kid said something quite nasty to cause Tigger's reaction. A bit like Zidane and this Italian player during the football world cup...

I agree...Disney cast members are trained so well as to how to interact in the hardest of situations. I think there is more to the story than meets the eye. Id like to see the outcome of this. thanks for posting.

That is really scary but the characters are people too and who knows what really happened! This is rare for WDW and I think they are probably totally ashamed by the entire thing.

I think there is more to the story and i think the family is trying to get money from Disney...that is just my opinion.

It is very convenient that the incident was filmed.
The lack of audio evidence is a factor.
It is also SO VERY unlikely that a Disney cast member would do this unprovoked.
Possibilities are, either the whole thing was staged with "Tiggers" complicity, or "Tigger was indeed provoked.
IMHO.

you are right...how come there is no audio? usually there is audio whenever videoing something unless its video from a camera. interesting...

One time, I was dressed up in a character costume for my company's kids easter party. I was stumbling all over, could not see well and certainly had no idea by feel where my hands were. I only did it for 3 hours, but trust me, with those gloves on, my hands could not tell what they were touching.
I think the family wants some money!

I think it was just an accident, I can't believe Tigger would do anything like that. Poor Tigger.

My husband works at WDW. The Tigger was just pulling away from the boy behind him and couldn't see who was where. They have security with them at all time, to make sure they are not hit, pushed and pulled. It was just an accident
