What is the best music search engine/downloadable music?

I have been coming to factors that my computer is not working with several music search engines to download music. I tried to just download and then take it to a disk but nothing is working. Help Me!!!

i do know of limewire that seems to be a great, pretty fast, gives you the chance to talk to the host that you are taking from just one thing that is a down side you cannot be totally sure what you are downloading things may contain virus,
