I heard that they are very smart. More than dogs and cats. Can you train them? What can you share with me? I will rate the best answer. Thank you.

A really popular attraction every year at our State Fair is the pig races. They perform tricks on cue, wear costumes and race each other around the track. The respond to their names. Yes, they are supposed to be one of the smartest animals alive.

Oh, they must be adorable in their outfits. I have never seen such a thing. Hehhe, except for my folk art paintings. :)

Pigs may be smarter than dogs and cats, but I don't see anyone with a pig for a pet. I guess in some ways they are smart...dogs and cats become controlled by their owners and lose their freedoms. A pig is free to wallow around and go about it's business without a concern for it's owner. The only worry for a pig is whether or not he or she will be the one providing the bacon.

I have heard many true stories of pigs in the house as a pet. They are clean, and very affectionate and protective, as a dog is.

I have heard that you are able to train them but I have to admit I would not like one lol My Daughter always wanted a Potbellied Pig and I told her she has no chance lol.
