What is the greatest thing about Gta (grand theft auto )

GTA is a game where you can do everything, almost everything that is. It's not just a normal driving/racing/vehicle simulation game. It's not like a normal third person shooter game. Playing GTA is like living in another alternate world where we can do anything that are illegal in the real world. You can hit and run, rob a bank, running from cops (or fighting them :D), burn buildings, anything you wanna do. The open world concept is the main trademark in this game. Even the famous Need For Speed series have started to use this concept, by implement it first in NFS Underground, then Underground 2, Most Wanted and Carbon.

Big Benas, you really have to help me out here and explain what a Grand Theft Auto actually is? Could you post a photo of one in your profile or something? Or is it somekind of race wagon? Or a SUV ( sports utility vehicle)? I live in the Netherlands and I have never heard of it... so be my light in my gta darkness

GTA is one of the best game I ever played. I like the concept of the game. It's not like all those boring games where you need to follow a single path and get to next level by killing the boss of the stage. It's like another self of you, wandering freely in another virtual world. It's all about freedom, you can choose to fooling around, earning money, collecting experience, upgrading weapons, hunting for vehicles or battle with cops/FBI/military. A game without mission is also a boring game, but GTA offered tons of mission, which not neccessary to be completed in restricted sequence. Of course there is some missions is critical for story line but a lot of them are optional. There is also mission to rob the bank or deliver the pizza. That's great isn't it?

the greatest thing about gta is the completeness of the game,especially in san andreas u were in control of every aspect of cj's life,and that's so awesome, even if u've played all the missions u can still explore and keep exploring, and that makes it unstructured, just like life, i think that's what most people identify with.

the whole free to roam idea of the game itself! and the variety of missions that they have, unlike other games, that restrict you to doing only one thing, for example, racing in NFS, shooting in doom or half life, well in GTA you get to shoot, to race, etc, not the mention it has rocking graphics too!

You should try Vice City - that one was even better. I wasn't too impressed with San Andreas.

I think the greatest thing about Grand Theft Auto is its ability to roam an entire city where you can do almost anything, well more than other games anyway. Everything just seems to work and fit in well. They keep on trying new and bold things with every GTA and I applaud them for that. I cannot wait to see how the next generation of GTA games will turn out.

I like Grand Theft Auto 3 (Vice City) and 4 (San Andreas). I like to pretend I'm a whacko runing amock on the town! I love the cheat codes.

Yeah i love that game because there you can create your own gang like i do in real life:)Have a NICE gangsta day everyone.

Here in GTA, we are the boss. We have the freedom to do whatever we like. Whether to go for a dine or a trip around the city or to a dance club, it's ur choice and u enjoy every moment. The whole city planning is Great. You won't get such a game anywhere else!!!!
