what does the star mark with a number on the top of every discussion represent?.

right from this morning,after starting or responding to any discussion,i see a different color star with a number in it.what does it mean?a warning symbol or points?any help is appreciated.

did you not receive an alert from mylot. that is a new rule. and it is good. that stands for reputation of each user here at mylot

That is the Rank the mylot member gets. it ranges from 1 -10, 10 being the best and it doesnt mean 1 is bad. The person with the highest rank is just well thought of by mylot members. :)

I got an alert today when I signed in to my Mylot account that told me they have implemented a new user rating program for once you've reached 100 posts.
