Eragon or The Lord of the Rings?

I think lord of the rings is still at an higher hand in comparison with eragon though eragon is a recent release.

Based on the movies only, I'd say Lord of the Rings is the best hands down.

For the books, I'd favor Eragon. I love the story, and I wish they had done a better job on the movie.

i never watch the eragon movies before, but i bet it won't beat the lord of the ring movie. lord of the ring is still the best!

i'll go with Lord of the Rings, because in this movie, you'll never know what is to come (not unless you've read the book). It has an original play plus it has it's twist and turns that keeps you eyed on your seats. After waching the first scene, you'd be going to look for the second part and lastly wonder how the magnificent story would end.
