Any Caterers here?

My husband and I would like to start a catering business. We love to cook and we're good, but we don't know what to do to get started. If you are or know someone who is a caterer, please help us.

I've heard that any business that involves food can be high risk. Even if you're an awesome chef/cook and have some great things to choose from it tends to be a very difficult field to break into. Good luck!

Thanks, gal...I figured that. I think what we might do is have one or two items, give free samples out to restaurants and bars and if people like them then we'll perhaps have orders occasionally from the owners, etc.
