All of you great cooks, give us your favorite recipe. Here is mine:
Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
1 pkg. broccoli cooked and layered on the bottom of a 13x9 pan.
1 pkg. boneless chicken (3-4 pieces) cubed.
Fry cubed chicken in 1/2 stick of butter and 3 cloves of garlic or garlic substitute (I use minced garlic) until done. Place cooked chicken on top of broccoli (leave the drippings in the skillet, chicken only). Add to drippings 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/2 c. mayo and 1 tsp. of lemon juice and mix.
Add mushrooms on top of chicken.
Pour soup mixture over this and top with shredded cheese and bread crumbs.
Bake at 425 for 15 min. or until brown. Enjoy!

Hmmm...sounds good, but I don't cook chicken at home, maybe I should try this:) One of my favourites is Baked Penne with Roasted Vegetables. I've already posted this recipe in another discussion. Hope you like it.

I will try to find that recipe. I tried to see if this had been done, but since I am new must not have looked in the right places or far enough. Maybe you have a second best recipe. I love getting recipes from other peoples recipe files.

I think my cooking is not that good is yours, so I just keep your recipe and make for my family a dinner tonight. Thanks,+

I have all to many favorite recipes that I like using to cook a dish.. It's difficult to choose just one.. But I decided to include a recipe of a dish that I had just made a few days ago for supper.. For both me & my other half. That we both enjoyed quite a bit!
I used to make this dish on a regular basis but it was getting rather tiresome so I had to lay off of making this dish for a while. But because we didn't end up having it for quite a while.. It was a nice change, & a rather delicious one at that.. I hope if you end up trying this recipe that you end up liking it just as much as we have! Thanks for allowing me to share, but also sharing your favorite recipe as well! xx
"Creamy Seafood Pasta."
Ingredients are as follows:

- 1 cup of milk
- 1 can of new england clam chowder
- 1/2 of a cup of shredded parmesan cheese (Roughly 2 ounces)
- 2 - 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 1/2 of a pound of uncooked peeled, large shrimp, with tails peeled
- 4 medium green onions, chopped finely (14 of a cup)
- 1 can of package (8 ounces) of sliced fresh mushrooms (4 cups full)
- 1/2 of a cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 to 1/2 of a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 of a cup of shredded parmesan cheese (2 ounces) only if desired.
- Salt & pepper to taste as well, only if desired
Directions are as follows:
- First off in a dutch oven, cook the fettuccine or linguine as directed on the package. Afterwards drain well, then return to the dutch oven & cover to keep it warm.
- Secondly in a blender, place the clam chowder, along with the milk, & 1/2 of a cup of parmesan cheese, as well as the garlic. Then blend all of this on medium speed, at least until the mixture is smooth. Afterwards set aside.
- In a non-stick large skillet or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat at least until hot.
- After this add the shrimp, along with the mushrooms & onions. And allow to cook for 5 minutes. Make sure to stir frequently, at least until the shrimp is no longer pink.
- Then stir in the pepper flakes, as well as the soup mixture. Cook all of this until heated thoroughly. Then stir in the parsley, as well as add the salt & pepper to taste.
- Pour all of this over the cooked fettuccini or linguine in the dutch oven, the toss gently to coat. Then top all of the dishes that you are serving with parmesan cheese. Then serve & enjoy this yummy pasta dish! . . xx
