So Many Changes

I never knew that a hysterectomy consisted of so many changes. I have found that I get ill more often than I used to and now I find that it is a life long side effect of surgury. When you go through surgery it seems as if your whole world crashes down and then it's over. The pro of the surgery is the fact you are no longer in pain nor do you have to worry about having more babies if you are not wanting more. I on the other hand would have preferred to have one more at least. I have one child and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I am just wondering if anyone else has had the empty nest syndrome after their surgery?

I just got mine a month ago...I am still in recovery. I am in pain daily with all the healing but people tell me to hang in there because afterwards it will be worth it. I really wanted one more child too but there is no way I was going to wait a couple of years and then start over again. I have two kids already. A boya and a girl. I just hope it gets better...well it can't get worse!
