I was watching TV a few nights ago and seen a thing about professional gaming. Kids are making thousands of dollars just playing games. Then if you are good enough, you can also count in the sponsorships and the money that comes along with that. I am glad gaming is becoming more mainstream now. The idea of a fat, lazy man groping a controller/keyboard with their greasy ape hands all the while eating crumbs of potato chips of of their stomachs is now becoming vanquished as the image of a gamer. You can really see that gamers are just regular people who happen to be good at playing certain games. Anyways, I just wanted to know what you guys think of professional gaming. I personally would love to do it if there was a way.

I would do it if I knew how to win. But I wouldn't do it as a career. I would play for a few years and live off the interest for the rest of my life, so I would have a life to enjoy family and friends with, I wouldn't want to spend my whole life gambling. It would be too boring to me. That's just my opinion and I'm only speaking for myself, I know others may think differently.

I can see where you are coming from. After a few years, you would have so much money (if you were good) from competitions and sponsorships that you could leave the scene in a few years. I personally and a game fanatic. I don't sit at home and game all day, but if I could I would; especially if I was getting paid for it. I love it for the competition. I am rather good at most games I play, so being able to compete with someone of equal skill would be great.
