How were Dinosaurs get Extinct?

I heard that a meteor the size a 1/3 the size of mars hit earth
But Thats just one country of earth, almost all dinosaurs were wiped out. Funny one hit, and some of the food went out.
animals in the ocean were unharmed. Trees survived.
And some plants still survived.
Little insects survived. Crocodiles survived, and alligators.
Funny some big land animals still exist.

there r many theories for the extinction of dinosaures from the earh.no theory has been 100% prooved.
these r just the thinking of people of might have been happened.
