Annoying mylot New alert(s) box  

If you delete the alerts by using the trash can beside it after you open the alert, then it will go away. I hope that helps you.

Yes, that little thing is very annoying. Click on it so that the info shows up. Then to the right of the info is a trash can icon next to each one which means "delete". Click on each trash can to delete them all, then the box will go away.

just when you go to the message they have a little trash can icon next to the message and that's how you delete it.

if you left click and hold with your mouse you can move it to wherever you want on the screen

That box bothers me, too. It gets in the way of the search box, as you said. I am finding that i use the search box less and less now that I have more friends to reply to here on Mylot and now that I have more interests selected, but I still get very distracted when I see that alert thingy in the top corner of my screen and I wish to get rid of it as soon as possible when it is up there. What you need to do is look at each alert that you have and press the delete icon. Then the box will go away! ^_^

It is very easy to delete. you just click on it. then when you see the complete detail of alert just click on delete logo which will on the right side of your side on the screen beside the alert

all u have to do is just click on the alert link to display the alert. Once it opens the alert u will see a trash can image near the display on the right hand side of the alert just click on it and ur alert display will get deleted.

I know, the alret box is very irritating! Unless you delete the alert itself there is no other way you can get rid of the box.

i just read the alert then click on the dustbin icon and it all goes away, best of luck, keep on posting

Today I was thinking about it too. I was also going to start a discussion about this but finally I didn't and I've found now your discussion casually. Well, it seems like, as you have seen in all the previous posts, the only way to remove that box is deleting all the alerts that you have received. In my opinion that's a pitty because that information may be valuable for me in the future, so I'm going to copy all the alerts and paste them in a word document from now on.
