NFL's New York Giants and Miami Dolphins to play a regular-season game in London

That's right, London's first NFL game. What's your take? Personally, I am all for it, but I think they should have picked two better teams - pick the Ravens and the Patriots, or the Chargers and Ravens, or something. The Dolphins are not good, and the Giants, while in the playoffs, are a complete mess.

Hmmm, Maybe they picked those teams because they figured it wouldn't throw off a good team lol... If they sent one of the teams that you mentioned in the middle of their playoff race it could hurt the team with all that travel time, so why not send those two struggleing franchises!

I am really not into Football. I know nothing about it except when someone makes a touchdown, that's the fun part.

Ok, my friend, here goes...LOL. The Dolphins are my team, good or bad. I was born and raised in Miami and they will always be my team. So, of course, I'm delighted they'll be playing in London, no matter who they're playing. While we are looking for a new coach now, maybe we'll be great by the time the game comes along. Who knows? After all, we did beat the Bears this year when they'd been undefeated until we played them. Many teams start out great, then fall apart as the season goes along. We started out horribly, then started coming back toward the end...but we still didn't win 50% of our games. This is always subject to change, and so far we are the only team (1972) who played a perfect season (17-0). We have to protect that record, and I think that's what gives us a better chance at beating an undefeated team every year. Go Dolphins! (P.S. Good discussion)

I just heard about this match up today and was bored by the thought of watching these two teams play. Both teams were a mess this year as the Dolphins were bad all year long and the Giants collapsed at the end. I would rather see two good teams play each other but who is to say that these teams might be good next year? It will be interesting to see how London handles it and what the reaction will be there.

Makes sense to me, since they've already played in Mexico.
The Giants should be better once they get injured players back (the game is next season, I assume), like Strahan, Petitgout, etc. Every team has injuries, it's hard to tell what team is going to be doing well by the time the game is played.
The Giants may have been chosen because NYC is a very international city with a lot of people from all over the world, including the UK, living there. SD and Baltimore may not get the same interest around the world.

Yeah, those are some team. Hopefully, they'll do great and they'll win big time. Let's just keep our fingers crossed.
