Anxiety is the fundamental response to a particular situation or development, which is expressed in a mild or extreme manner. Anxiety disorders manifest themselves in a disturbed physical or emotional state such as muscle tension, fatigue, insomnia, breathlessness, rapid heartbeat, sweat hands, throbbing headaches, poor concentration and constant sadness.

Exercise
Get a massage
Practice relaxation techniques
Such as controlled breathing or mediation
Get enough sleep
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, chocolate and nicotine
Do something you enjoy, such as going to a movie or reading a book
