Chopsticks or Fork/Spoon? |
|
Do you use chopsticks? If you do, do you prefer to use chopsticks or fork and spoon? Why?I've a discussion with a friend on this, I prefer to use chopsticks as I think it's easier to pick up food, except for those rounded and soft items, such as tofu` fish balls. Especially when I'm eating noodles, I think using chopsticks is easier. Well, and also I can just use one hand to eat, instead of using both hands for spoon and fork. Using chopsticks, I can pick up exactly what I want to pick up. Although I use fork/spoon as well, I use chopsticks more often. My friend thinks using fork and spoon is easier. How about you? Which is your preference?

15. myworkid1987 (591) | 3 years ago | I think using a fork and spoon is alot easier. I didnt grow up using chop sticks as my parents never at chinese food so I never learned how to use chopsticks and still dont to this day. I have tried but never succeded. So when I eat chinese I usally only use a fork and spoon. I usually only eat orange chicken though. Orange chicken is the bomb!!! oh, and of course fried shimp.

17. camille101 (712) | 3 years ago | Mine is fork, I do like to use chopstick but I'm not expert on handling it. Guess, I have to practice more often to use the chopstick, I like the idea of using it on noodles and some other longy food like pasta.

19. dopey22girl (3140) | 3 years ago | I have never been able to use chopsticks! It's always a fork or a spoon. And if for whatever reason the eating utensil I have doesn't work with the food, it's fingers all the way.:)

20. koikoikoi (1163) | 3 years ago | I use all of them. Fork, spoon, and chopsticks. Although for me I find utencils easier. I guess because I have been using them my whole life and grew up using them, I got comfortable with them. But I use chopsticks just when I get offered with them, or if they have them. Like a chinese restaurant. I'm not that good at using them yet but I still practice eating rice with them especially.
