Chopsticks or Fork/Spoon?  |

 Do you use chopsticks? If you do, do you prefer to use chopsticks or fork and spoon? Why?I've a discussion with a friend on this, I prefer to use chopsticks as I think it's easier to pick up food, except for those rounded and soft items, such as tofu` fish balls. Especially when I'm eating noodles, I think using chopsticks is easier. Well, and also I can just use one hand to eat, instead of using both hands for spoon and fork. Using chopsticks, I can pick up exactly what I want to pick up. Although I use fork/spoon as well, I use chopsticks more often.
My friend thinks using fork and spoon is easier.
How about you? Which is your preference?

| 63. faylinn_chaeli (1446) | 3 years ago |  I use spoon and fork because in our house there are no chopstick. Our foreign language teacher taught us how to hold the chopstick so I think I know how to hold one. But I think for is the best for picking up food and then the spoon for the soup.

| 64. unshiv (85) | 3 years ago |  no i dont use chopsticks.i prefer to use fork and spoon because i found it easier to pick up the food and we have less work to do .also when i eat noodles i like to use forks to have it . there is a lot of fun in using that.

| 65. samwilliams06 (848) | 3 years ago |  I grew up eating with a spoon and i still do to this day but my husand and his mother says that spoons are for babies and adults should eat with a fork unles its a soup. When we have family gatherings i dont eat with a spoon ike i would want but In the comfort of just my husband and I i love my spoons. He taugh me how to eat with chopsticks as well but I still love my spoon.

Chopsticks can't really pick up soft items like you had said yea ... I only chopsticks to eat noodles, but if i am given on fork and spoon to eat noodles, i am fine with it also

68.  Jemina (2558) | 3 years ago |  How about fingers?:-) I used chopsticks when I eat noodles or when I go to restaurants that use chopsticks. For salads and fruits I use forks and of course spoon for soups. I love korean chopsticks coz they are metal so you can sterilize it by boiling without damaging. For plastics it's not good obviously. wooden chopstics should be disposed of after a couple of using them.
