How many musical instruments do you play (if any)? What are they? What instruments should I take up and why? I'm looking for something that is not too big and that I can carry around conveniently. How long have you been practising/learning your instrument so far?

Do you have a reason behind your preference? My cousin plays piano, has being doing for a while now; she is getting quite good at it. She has I think a lot of private tuitoin. I learn the clarinet myself. My sister plays the french horn; quite a rare instrument, if you ask me.

I play drums a little and I want to improve but I don't get to practice a lot. I don't have my own drums and I don't know anyone who has it. I used to play it in high school because it's really cool when you're a girl and you're the drummer in a band. And I would really love to play the piano! Maybe I should take up lessons.

I love to play anything I can learn. However playing larger wind instruments are hard as I get winded easily from them.. I later found out I had asthma is why..
I Like to play the Tin Whistle, Bamboo Flute, Harmonica, piano, keyboard, bodhran (Irish Drum), a Native American Drum that was gifted to me.. The Rattles... And Make music out of Pop/Soda cans...
I been practicing on and off with them for years, I play by ear of through instruction books and note reading.. or listen to tapes over and over and mimick what I hear...
So I am not a pro but what I do figure out I do well...
I figured out how to play Crazy Train on my Tin Whistle.. Ozzy Osbourne lol... Yep. I am a Crazy for fun alright. :) .

Zero.Zilch.Nada.. I don't think I'm the musically gifted type as far as playing musical instruments go, still, it's unbearable for me to not hear any music everyday. Although, I have been planning to learn playing the violin, been considering taking lessons. It's not as bulky as a guitar, and there are some bands with violin bits in their music.
