afraid of driving

I am 36 and a mother of 7, i feel bad for not having a licence but i am so terrify of learning to drive , i think if i drive i am just going to have an accident and when i see paople with all this road rage it does not help at all, it makes me more anxious,have anyone out there gotten over this phobia?

i hate driving too, i have some phobias like i hate to change lanes because i'm afraid when i do, there will be a car which will suddenly speed and ram into my car. i also hate parking and i hate to park in basements because some basements are like so narrow, it's scary. but i've no choice but to drive because if not i would not have any transport. i prefer to be the passenger than the driver though. well, i think if you are alert and a careful driver, then it should be ok. :)

If you are a careful driver, there is almost no chance that you be involved in car accident. You ever think about going to a doctor that treat phobia?
Maybe it can help you to over come this fear of driving.
