A question about XBOX 360 wireless adapters?

My family recently bought a 360, and it's rather difficult to have an internet cord stretchd across the house, i was wonderng if by using a linksys wireless game adapter that is compatible with a 360, would we be voiding our waranty?

yes it would if you are trying to strech the internet cord across the room and make damages to the console because these days you sometimes would be wasting your warranty and maybe harder to be fixed because some fixers are not that good at fixing things
