can you tell me which among the Indian Leaders is the most influential person that transform the whole of india and made a big contribution to India's culture and people. Why him/her?

I think Mahatma Gandi and Indira Gandhi.Both were highly respected in their time and had great influence on Indian people.Mahatma Gandi was the only leader who single handedly opposed British. And Indira Gandhi was the only ( Woman ) leader who was most popular among masses.
