Do you ever find yourself throwing an adult temper tantrum when you don't get what you want? For example: do you clam up and refuse to speak to someone who has crossed you, or do you slam doors and throw books..stamp you feet ..walk out doors..
What is your way of showing your frustration..is it like a tantrum?

We all have our temper tantrums..I am wondering how many recognize it or even admit it..You, at least know you have done this and own up to it...
I too have thrown my own version of a tantrum..walking away from a situation I don't want to respond to .

Now, as mild-mannered as I am a lot of the time, and as shy as I am, I honestly do have a really bad temper when I get angry. I've been known to throw things (not at someone, mind you! *laugh*) or kick at things when I've been really upset, even as an adult. I really should watch that. I'm much more prone to just yelling, but when I get really upset I do slam things down or throw thigns sometimes. I know that I shouldn't *laugh* But it's hard not to, at times.

No I don't, a child acts like that. or a person with bad behavior, like some kids have this behavior.

I do not throw temper tantrums myself but I know someone who does do that. I used to work with this person and she threw fits at the office most of the time. I usually just walk away to avoid getting upset or throwing a fit. I will go for walk or get a bite to eat to relax me. It is amazing as I see many younger people that handle difficult situations better than some of the adults that I have met or known.

Sometimes when I am exhausted and stressed I will 'clam up'
for a while, and I don't think that is such a bad thing, because sometimes you can blurt out things in the heat of a discussion that you are sorry about later...SS
