Why do all politicians uses the government funds for their personal interest?

All politicians uses government funds most especially when election comes near, dirty politics as they should say, all true, am i right?

It is strange, when the dems took controle back in jan. they were going to stop thes earmarks and make things more transparrent. Didn't happen.

no not all polticions use federal funds. The program works like this. If you run you can opt for matching funds, that is if a canidate rases $15,000,000.00 the federal presidental fund matches it, but there are lots of rules if you use matching funds. So some canidate chose not to reseive matching funds so they don't have to follow these stengent rules. one of the most notable runners in the past was Ross Perot. He used only his own money.
