Sometimes you can find trip and travel insurance where you least expect it. Your credit card. Some credit card companies offer insurance that can protect against lost or stolen luggage. Medical assistance. 24 information. Plus, customized policies depending on how much you travel per year. Also, since it's your credit card company you know it's financially solid. So you don't have to worry about it going under before you file for a claim. Try calling them before you buy your tickets. Sometimes credit card companies can give you some sort of total package/insurance deal if you pay everything through them.

You know what it's funny, but keep some kind of a note pad with you while your on vacation to keep track of what you need to do, it helps. Don't you think?
