"Big bag scare" Do you carry big or small bag?

Its cool to be seen sporting a rucksack on your shoulder. But how would you deal with nasty shoulder pain? The huge hobo style bags may be currently in vogue but they can freeze your shoulders. Carring an excess burden on only one shoulder can result in chronic back, neck and wrist pain. Which one do you carry, big or small(except in shopping)?
