I have 2 himis...one has silky hair which rarely tangles and is fairly easy to manage ...but my other cat has the cottony fur which tangles and matts practically 5 minutes after he is brushed. To top it off he hates being brushed...and hates to have the tangles cut out. I would appreciate any ideas on how to keep them from getting matted....any special sprays or detanglers recommended? Do you think the hairball remedies really work?
