Dieting
Contrary to popular belief, water doesn't help you burn fat faster. Howerver, dieters need more water than other people because they tend to cut down on carbohydrates. And when you eat less carbohydrate the body is able to hold less water. That's why the first week of dieting is often the easiest - most of teh weight you lose is water. So, to avoid dehydratin, you must drink more.
In the theater of human nutrtion, proteins, fats and carbohydrates play the leading roles, fueling the body with calories, while water plays an all-important supporting role. It is medium in which all chemical reactiosn take place, the stage upon which all other nutrient and body chemicals interact.
And water must play several parts at once.
