Do you easily trust a person just because

I would. I'd think that these type of people went through a lot to get where they are and by not being trustworthy they will lose respect and/ or their jobs.

No i dont. I need a character to trust, His/Her words and actions and the consistency in them. The person can be religious or the total opposite.

Erm ... I'm biased of course, lol ... but no. Normally, people, regardless of they're position in the community, start out at a zero meter with me in regards to trust, either working up or down from there depending on their behavior, personality, actions, etc. However, religious leaders and priests, admittedly, start out at about -2 to -5 with me. I have even more trouble trusting a person who lives their life based on blind faith.

And let's not forget, for the hoardes of people who think them automatically trust worthy, how many priests are guilty of sexual molestation when it comes to underage boys ... they're people, they have their screw ups and weirdo's just like the rest of society. They are no more deserving of trust automatically than any other person.

Pasters and Priest are the people I least trust. Anytime someone can twist words to mean what they want them to mean and then make you pay them for it can't be trusted. When they can tell you they are collecting money for church improvements and all you see is little improvements yet they have a brand new car every year, they can't be trusted

Absolutely not. In fact, I may trust them less right now. I don't know I guess you would not have heard about all this, but over here there has been a lot of scandal in the Catholic church where priests are getting in trouble for molesting young boys.
In fact a number of priests that taught me in high school were on the news a couple years later for exactly that.
It just goes to show you that these guys are people too...

A big NO! Being religious does not guarantee someone as being righteous at all! That's just my opinion...

Absolutely not. For me, I see them as the people who will put us more in danger rather than taking us away from it. As far as I know, they are like a bunch of conspirators trying to protect only their own vested interests. I haven't seen anyone yet that would be trust-worthy for us to belive and follow. They have no difference on some of our politicians..

i usually trust people easily but not because he is a pastor or priest. I always give someone a benefit of the doubt. I will trust you easily but if you break that trust its hard for you to regain it.

ussually i start to trust a person since the first time i know him/her. If they do something that makes me loosing trust on them, then at that time i don't trust them anymore.
I do have judgements, feelings, etc, but i don't want to judge book only by its cover, i want to trust everyone at certain level, and later on, time will show me who still deserves to be trust and who's don't deserves to be trust.
