family activities

My family (my husband, my then 1 year old boy, and I) will be vacationing in las vegas sometime this year and we would like to find out if there are family activities to be enjoyed in las vegas aside from the usual casinos? We would like to plan this ahead of time to make the most out of it.

there is plenty of family freindly activities to do in Vegas, as far as a cheap but decent hotel goes for a family,
Circus Circus, they have a free circus show not to mention the 5 acre amusement park on site, there is a huge water park, museums, lake mead and hoover damn, various other free shows along the strip and some off strip shows,a chocolate factory that has free tours and a beautiful cactus garden.

There are so many parts of hotels aside from casinos that are worth seeing...
