Okay dude if you read the book it told you that Dumbledore told Petunia about Azkaban, and all about Harry. It was in the letter to her when Harry was left at her door step. And maybe even after that.

aunt petunia is just a "flower" in this whole story really. She doesn't really have any importance to the action she is always the opening character in the book cause everytime the action starts at her house.
