I quit for 9 months on the patch .When I get up the courage again that is what I am going to try again . My mother always says that drinking water everytime you have a craving is supposed to help also and another tip she gave me was to put out a dish with water and add your cigarette butts to it and when you get a bad craving just take a look in the dish, it looks bad and then think about what this is doing to you and all the reasons you want to quit and she says this helps some people . Best of luck in quitting because I would love to quit also just not in the right frame of mind to quit at this time .

I have not been able to quit myself, but I think that's because I really don't want to. When that day does eventually come, then maybe I'll be quitting too.

My husband just layed them down and quit I wish you lots of luck. He says that he still wants one ever now and then.

Since you've asked to quit it, so I can only give this advice that next time, burning n new cigarette/cigar, just think your family, frends or close 1s, who've been always with u, Who've always supported u during bad/gud times n for whom u r living. Smoking is not is not causing u anything, But it is bringing u near n more near 2 death.
This is a life, a precious life, which ur frends/family members would love to have more....
That's it.....
