I m looking for a job and have been using Monster.com and Careerbuilder. Has anyone had any success with either one of these sites? Is there anything out there that you think is better?

I used both, and never had much success. I did almost find one, but I couldn't start soon enough for it. I think craigslist.org, if you have one local to you, is a good place to look for jobs, and check out the websites for your local paper, many have classifieds online with Apply Online options, etc. And state and city sites if you perhaps want to work for the government in any manner.

My resume is on both and I am having no suck luck on either. When I click on the category of the industy that I am seeking, all that pops up is staffing agencies that I am register with. I wished they had private companies, but they don't.

I've had some luck with them in terms of being offered GOBS of money for being a manager in training, but it's just a damn scam.......why do they get to post up jobs that are non-existent?

I was offered a position one time but I'd lied about the state I lived in since I wanted to move to that state. It was an entry position for this Pharmaceutical Company and although I was more than qualified and I didn't care about the income as long as I could just move to that state, I was not offered the job after the realization that I'm not in the state. Other than that I've few successful, but I've just gone on to the companie/organization's website if I'm applying to them.
