Things I learned when I became a mom... |
|
1. Christmas is really for the kids to enjoy 2. That I would actually be able to give up my job and my shopping cravings 3. That a trip to the mall becomes a trip for the kids rather than mine 4. That everything I do, no matter what, it's for the kids 5. Birthday parties and baptismals are very special occasions 6. Children's clothings cost the same as adult's clothings 7. There are educational cartoons 8. It is normal to have your kid's voice as your cellphone ringtone 9. That babies really smell oh, so good 10. That too much sugar is bad 11. That my world will revolve around the kids 12. Being a breastfeeding mom who is "on-call" the whole day, that I won't even have time to watch a movie 13. That sunlight is good 14. That I'd have lesser time to fix myself up 15. That the world is a beautiful place to live in 16. That it's fun to attend children's birthday parties 17. That I won't be in charge of my time anymore
This is it for now.. What things have you learned when you became a mom?

5. mommy2taylor1 (362) | 3 years ago | I've learned that I have the best miracle of all. That time flies by & to capture every moment you can. That my life has changed so much & I love every minute of it. I've learned I don't want to go out and party, I want to stay at home with my kids. I've learned people change. I've learned how to truly love.

9. MellieC (591) | 3 years ago | Number 11 is the one that I've had to learn how to live with. That being a mommy means that Me time is something worth sacrificing in order for my son to have "mommy and me" time. This is a good list.
Ps-I agree totally about the baby smell thing;)

its a surprise when u ladies can list out so many, im a guy, i totally admire and respect women all the way up to my heart. I know its not easy to be a mother as i see my mom having a hard time in bringing me up till today, and she definately learnt patient and affection, which she always shows to me. I feel touched, i wish i can repay her now=)
