is USA safe for living

seeing the current war in Iraq, i think there could be a possible repraisals from the terrorist, and the hitting of America could possibly be imminent. do u think USA is a safe place to live?

The U.S. is just as safe is any other country that isn't a 3rd world country.

waoh!!! you dont just say that without proper command of word. Atleast we still have countries in the 3rd world where u dont have to sleep with all your security gadget on.

Yes it was, it is, and it will be.
Wars always do not destroy a country.
In some way, The World War II led to the passage of the GI Bill which changed the lives of millions of American veterans. It uplifted their education level, their living standards, etc.
History is the witness, due to war both United States and Germany easily faced the so called "Great Depression" of that time.
The United States was heavily industrialized during the wartime only.
