Calling all expecting moms!!

The wive's tales kill me.

When I had my twin sons, way back... 3 days before dirt...doctors didn't automatically do unltrasounds so they didn't know I was having twins until almost my due date, and I carried them full term. My favorite wives tale is about the way one carries.

I think it says that if you carry high and in front its a boy, and if you carry low its a girl. None of these things are indicators but you hear it when people are trying to impress you. Another good hting is the pendulum test. You hold the pendulum over the prgnant belly and as "is it a (insert gender here)". If the pendulum swings back and forth then it is the gender you spoke. If it goes sidxe to side or in circles then its not the gender you spoke.

well i think what ppl say about the way you carry isnt right. i was told with my first child that she would be a boy because i carried her kind of high....nope...my 2nd one...they thought boy too because i carried her low....nope...another girl! also, i heard that if you have heart burn, your baby will have a full head of hair, well i had heartburn with both, but the 2nd was worse and she had less hair than the first baby.

ive heard that if the heart rate is mid 150's to 160's its a girl and 130's to 140's are a boy, which for me has been true, and if you have morning sickness its a girl and no sickness is a boy, not so sure about that one, and from my conclusions heartburn is worse with boys than girls, I have also heard of how you carry the baby, but Ive found it to not be true, i carried my girl high and all in the front, 1 boy all over, my other boy was low and all belly, and this pregnancy is totally off im carrying high but all over

I'm trying to concieve, but only have one so far.. My friend who is preg. tried the pencil thing. You thread a needle & then stick the needle into an eraser of a pencil and you have someone else hold the pencil over the preg. person's wrist and if it sways side to side it's a boy and length wise it's a girl. It worked on me & we'll see if it does on her:)
I've also heard the thing about the heartbeats that someone else said as well as how you carry & that didn't prove to be true with me.

i heard if u carry high and round its a boy..the bigger the belly is it will be a boy. girls are lower and smaller than boys. i have a girl and a boy and i carryed like i was having a boy both times.i have a girl and a boy. u cant tell some people claim they can but they just be getting lucky
