What Is The Scariest Thing That Has Ever Happened To You?  |

 The scariest thing that has happened to me would have to be when I was a child . My sister and I were woke up in the middle of the night with our parents screaming at us because our house was on fire (actually I woke before my younger sister and had to wake her, the smoke was already getting to her as she was on the top bunk of bunk beds ), one of my parents was screaming for us to jump out the window and the other was sceaming for us to run out the kitchen door . When we got to the kitchen my mother was screaming for us to grab out boots (as it was in the winter) and she was shoving us out the door at the same time (we never did get our boots ), she put us in the car and when she did she realized she did not have her license and ran back into the house (it is amazing what will go through your mind in a scary situation ), it seemed like she was gone forever, I was out of the car and going into the house to get her when she finally came back (in actuallity she was not gone long ), then she took us over to the neighbors and that was when we realized we had left our dogs in the house . My dad ran back into the house to get them but the house was too full of smoke and they were already gone but I will never forget the fear of both my parents running back into a burning building for different things and then we could do nothing as we watched the whole house collapse from the flames .
It is definitely something I will never forget as long as I live .

1.  monica1216 (381) | 3 years ago |  Wow! that's pretty scary. I don't have an absolute scariest moment. I have a few very scary ones though:
1) stepping on a snake accidentally with bare feet. Yikes! It happened when i was 20 years old. I didn't get bitten by the snake but I have a huge fear of snakes so it was pretty scary for me to have possibly almost been bitten by one.
2) My mom coming and waking me up in the night when I was 16 years old and handing me a written note saying to call the police! I had kept the phone in my bedroom and she thought someone was breaking into our house. It was the middle of the night and very scary!!! Thankfully the police came right away.
3) Just this past summer when my child was having breathing difficulties and we had to call an ambulance. that was really awful and something I never have to experience again.

The cord got wrapped around her neck and I was sent to the emergency room on my hands and knees with a doctor behind me, literally holding her in as if she had come out, she'd have been strangled. Then before they had a chance to complete the emergency c-section, she had a bowel movement and swallowed some of it. She was in neo-natal care for 2 days and we both almost died. However, today, we are both fine:)

after hitting a tree the car flipped over a couple of times before landing on its roof .. that part was over quick so wasent bad as it was happening but scary after
the most scary part was trying to kick out the window after it stoped
seeing flames on the back of the car and petrol comeing into the car wondering if i would get out before burning
before i got out i remember wishing the crash had killed me so i dident have to die slow in the fire

| harris24982 (442) | 3 years ago | i did goto hospital but wasent that bad broke my nose on the bashboard cracked a rib (had the inprint of the steering wheel on my chest which was strange as i was on the passanger side)
and broke my ankle kicking out the windscreen
(seatbelts realy do save lifes)
wakeing up to a fire in the house like yours would be very scary dont think ide know what to do | |

Although we were quite sad for our dogs and there are some things you can never replace,such as pictures and keepsakes . But all in all that is nothing compared to what we could have lost had we not woke up . | |

| 5. Randync (458) | 3 years ago |  I was in a tornado once. I was living in a mobil home park. It was still dark outside. I heard it but didn't see it. They really do sound like a train. It hit the mobil home across the road from me and ripped it's roof off. 2 Mobil homes on each side of it, less than 20 feet away, were not touched. It bounched back up and over mine and took out some trees behind me.

She fell back on the couch and clanked out in front of me, she wouldnt speak or anything so i called my sister and she called the ambulance. when they got there she came back and threw up a little. My sister and i rode with her in the ambulance and she kept saying she had to use thr bathroom and she couldnt hold it any more. That was the last time i saw her and I am now 19 going on 20...

It was storming one night and I was in my basement when all of a sudden, I think a lightning bolt jumped through a window and right near me (I was using something electronic) now I don't know if I was dreaming this or not, but it really freaked me out. | |
