Mystery of Fibonacci!!!!!!!

Hey guys evryody must be knowing about the term fibonacii numbers ...for those who dont know its like 1,1,2,3...that is each of term in series is sum of previous terms...But does any one of really know that mystery of fibonacci is applicabe even to the plants,animals,for example...
1... In case of plants ..they occur as result of deeper physical process for in case of coinferous trees,palm tress ,sunflower trees and so on..
2...In case of animals like rabbits regarding their pattern of reproduction and development a similar pattern is observed...
Can u describe any other such patterns???or wish to add ur own suggestions or views..

you made me to go back to the school days.when my mathematics teacher taught about fibonacci series ,she gave some examples from nature also.i can still remember that.because i only questioned -what is the use of these series?
1.Hive of bees
2.Growth of cell in all living things
3.Florets of flowers.
4.scales of a pineapple.
