Life after death or reincarnation?

So difficult to really know. I do believe that there is an afterlife though. That is what I was taught all my life and so I'm inclined to believe it. I simply do not believe that we come back and start life again as another human or as an animal. Ofcourse I'm sure that if I had been taught reincarnation as a child that I'd probably believe in that philosophy just as much. Since there is no way to really know I would guess that most people do stick with whatever philosophy they were taught as a child.

I always love this topic because of the mystery--nobody actually knows. They say they do, but they don't. What makes the most sense to me is karma and reincarnation. I don't believe in transmogrification, though. In other words, I don't think a human being is going to come back as a warthog,no matter how nasty he was. The reason karma and reincarnation make sense to me is the way that some people just seem to be born wiser than others, and others appear to be new souls who have to learn everything the hard way. I seem to be the latter, lol.

P.S. I just typed "reincatnation" and made it look like we were all coming back as cats. My eyes are getting tired!

I believe in reincarnation or life after death. I will believe that a person who have unfinished in this world will be back to finish that.

I do not have any experience about what happens after death? But as per hindu religion, it is known that everybody after death will take birth again based on the sins that they have committed in this birth

I don't think I'd be able to put aside my religion on that one.. if one doesn't have a belief background then how can you create your own life after death? Of course then even a christian has his own opinion to the next. I personally don't believe in life after death back on earth, once you leave this place you are definately off to a better one. After all life's too much of hell to come back here! But something better awaits us all..

I'm a Christian, but I believe in reincarnation. I even believe the bible explains that Jesus is Adam reincarnated. Science teaches us that nothing ceases to exist, and it even explains in great detail what happens to the human body when it dies and decomposes. I believe the spirit (our emotions, memories and experiences) also does not cease to exist, but simply changes form, like water changes from solid to gas.

Reincarnation or life after death is a belief of some people and culture. They actually believe that when their first life here on Earth is finished, they will come back in the form of other creatures or another human being. This is why there are cultures that respect some animals such as deers for example. This is because they believe that a loved one must have reincarnated in the form of these animals.

I have heard that after 43000 lives one can get birth in humans.

i dont actually believe in life after death... itz all our beliefs and nothing else

i guess we will never really know until it happens to us, but i believe in the after life of heaven or hell. ive had a dog once that was extremely smart and seemed to understand exactly what we were talking about, even if we spelled it out in front of him and i used to tell my mom that he was a person that came back as a dog. but i truly dont believe it, it was just odd.
