dead from drinking too much water............would your family sue!!!

yah drinking to much water lead us to die, as i heard from the news their was a guy who join the radio station contest for the competition like this and after he drink 3-4 gallons, he collapse, the result is, he was poison by the water or too much water from the body. So take care of yourseld drink wisely..

If the radio station knew something like this could happen then I think they are dirty people to do a contest like this. Are we talking about the same story? The one where the radio had a water drinking contest, and the lady died from it?

I didn't hear she signed a wavier, but how big was the type on the wavier? Did she really get informed about how she could die from drinking to much water?

A nurse called into the show while this contest was going on, and was telling them to call it off. The nurse told them how dangerous it was, but they continued the contest anyway. I think that's complete negligence on their part.

I would sue the station for all it was worth.

SOMEBODY needs to go to jail in my opinion!! I mean I understand that she signed a waiver and all I do. But the way that the hosts were joking about if someone dies oh well they signed a waiver or soemthing to that effect was just plain wrong. That poor lady and her poor children. I couldn't believe this story when I saw it on CNN. WOW!!!!

It is only common sense that if you only drink water.. you're going to die of starvation. Water is not going to keep you alive. All you have to do is look at a person who is anorexic to figure that out. You don't have to be warned about what will happen if you only drink water.. it's common sense. But it's beginning to become apparent to me that common sense is no longer that common. If it was me.. I wouldn't do anything. I would consider what this woman did to be suicide.. if you know that there is no nutritional value in water, and all you ever ingest is water.. you're going to die. Plain and simple.
